Problems with Etsy

I started my SUSKOMEGA company using Etsy. It has been (and still is) a great platform to get started selling handmade items. However, they have bots that surf your listings for words or information that they don’t “like”. When that happens, your listing gets deactivated and BOOM, no warning, no suggestions, no help from Etsy of what you did wrong, it is just deactivated!

With that said, I have had more listings deactivated than activated! I change wording to the bare minimum, not adding words like arthritis or heals. I use words like joint pain and relief. Then I relist using my new wording. That will go on for about a couple of months and then BOOM, it is deactivated again. When I go to see the deactivated listing, it has the same wording as my first listing!!! At first I thought I was crazy, (I try not to be lol). After that happened a few times, I copied my listing into Word and saved it. Sure enough, I was right, they deactivated the wording from my first listing. I have called, (finally figured out that i have to chat), and complained, to no avail. They won’t relist. The reviews are gone, the rank is gone.

Today 11/15/2023 I went into Etsy and I had three listings deactivated! Indigo Blue, Ginger Root Tincture, Arnica and Hemp Salvem, and Acid Reflux Tea. Do you know how many times I have relisted Indigo Blue and Arnica and Hemp? Way too many!! I even listed the Indigo Blue with just the ingredients and nothing more. Deactivated, using old wording.

Why do they want us to fail? Don’t they make money off our our businesses?

Remember, if you can’t find what you are looking for on Etsy, please check here at http://www.suskomega.com!

As always, I really do appreciate your business.

I didn't know my "calling" for natural medicinal herbs until the past few years. I see so many autoimmune diseases popping up in me and my family that I decided to look into natural, alternative healing from what God gave us.

Is there anyway we can complain to Etsy for you. I love your products. I don’t mind buying directly from you. But I understand the lager platform helps with bringing you more business. Please advise. More than happy to assist.

Erza, From what i have read across the internet, typing in “Etsy deactivated my listing” there are so many disgruntled sellers like myself. I appreciate your offer to help me but honestly, it is like batting off flies, they keep coming back. I want to get as many people moved over to my site as possible. The way to do that is to promote my products through this website. Eventually sellers will leave or another platform will emerge. Thank you for your support of my business! Connie

Connie I ordered something from you on the 13th and got a confirmation #, but don’t know when to expect it and never got anything else from you. I bought it on your website order#3348. I sent you an email today, but no answer.

As has already been said, I love your products and WILL continue to buy them. Please let me know if I can write a letter to ETSY or something!! However, I do try to ONLY order from your website. Thanks Connie!
